Missionary Technology:
Our basic course (36 hours) prepares missionaries to live more safely and function more effectively in locations where electrical power is unavailable, unreliable or not safe. The course textbook is Tech Tips for Living in Remote Locations, 8th Edition. Specifically, this course includes the study of:

The course is broken up into 20 hours of discussion and 16 hours of hands on labs. It is applicable for missionaries serving in remote villages, missionary centers, small towns and city living conditions. This course is part of the missionary candidate training at the Ethnos360 Training Center. Missionary Technology is also taught in a one week seminar every June.

Tech Specialists Training:
An advanced program of study (720 hours) certifying graduates to serve as Tech Specialists. This is a module based course and individual modules can be offered as well. Believing that “time is a non-replaceable resource”, the Tech Specialists are trained to assist missionaries on the field to make the most of their time by helping them use the technology available to them and by providing them with technical support as needed. This is a very intensive course offered each fall semester. The students gain knowledge and hands-on experience in:

Graduates receive a certificate and serve as the technical support persons for church planting teams or regional teams. This course could also offer the opportunity to serve communities by providing a technical service to the local population.
